Was it only the people that got a number from the organisers that was counted? Because to me there was a hell of a lot more than 1400 odd cars there, I would of said you could at least triple that figure if not more.

My step daughter overheard someone saying that they'd printed off 1500 numbers and that they'd actually run out.How true/accurate this persons information was I don't know.

I do know that there was 100s if not 1000s of cars with no number showing, like I said previously the record figure is nowhere near the amount of cars that turned out which is a great shame because of the effort put into getting to the event, especially getting out of the venue also those without a number will not be part of the record.
I still think the record figure could of at least been tripled.

We got parked on the strip at about 13:30 and were given No. 1128, after about 30 mins they were indeed saying they'd ran out of number cards. I think it was only luck that gained me a number card; they opened a fresh 'lane' as we got there and we ended up a fair way down the strip (near the white Caravans).

It's difficult to judge the number of cars in a given area but we all agreed the was A LOT of cars there yesterday, far more than 1500 I'd say.

I received no 883 and the guy said he was running out of number cards, when I looked back there was cars as far as the eye could see, such a shame.
