Default Advice/info request

I'm looking into a 2009 XC70 185bhp AWD geartronic. It's got 65k on it with four Volvo services and one independent last one at 56k.

I'd appreciate any info on problems to look out for, economy stats (and ways of improving it!) and reliability.

VMT.

I had a 2009 Sport version with ventilated seats and keyless ignition (magic!)
The fuel economy was not as good as I hoped, about 34mpg with a fair amount of motorway driving. It suffered from turbo lag, which I found very annoying so I had it chipped. That got rid of the lag and acceleration was much improved. Didn't do much for the fuel economy about 1mpg better.

I had it for three years and had no problems with it at all.

Thanks for that. I've already been onto the boys at ECOTUNE and they've indicated that a remap will produce an extra 50-55 ponies and smooth out the acceleration curve but just like you said have no real effect on the economy.
I'll put in a K&N panel filter anyway and see what that all does.
