Okay Chaps n' Chapesses.....
What value, is there on a "P" reg candy apple 460?? Any ideas any one?
It apparently has FSH, 1 owner, 65k miles, but that's all I could tell you...It is however the last of the 400's before the S40 so it is a facelift. Just Curious.... Regards Dave M |

RE: Okay Chaps n' Chapesses.....
Ok...
A 440 with 65k on the clock-if it was me, i'd put in an offer for around £1700-Parkers say private you should be paying about £1800+, but it does depend on the model and equipment. I could only find a GS model on a P plate. If it was a top spec model, then you're obviously going to pay more, but if it's a lower spec, i.e manual window's, then offer less, in my opinion. I've seen low mile P plates round this way for little over £1100. But as i noticed when i was looking for mine, there seem's to be no consistency in prices. As an example, i bought my car last September. It is a 1994 440 2.0i SE in Met. Silver. Full electrics, heated seats etc, hideous but good condition interior, 66k on the clock, FSH (every 6k from new) alloy wheels, but the downside was the 6 previous owners. But i was having trouble finding a 2.0i so i settled for this, and i paid £1700 for it. It has been worth every penny! Eitherway, you will be getting a quality car for it's age, at avery good price. If you put £1800 in the search engine on the autotrader site, and see what it brings up, i bet you wont find many P plates! Good luck! Dan
