  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

Default 1.6d turbo and oil issues

Hi all just wanted some advice in regards to my 06 reg s40 ive done 114k in the car and have noticed the engine seems to be sending engine oil through the air pipes onto the air filter is this normal? also the turbo has gone on the car and ive noticed the shaft in the turbo seems twisted how could this have happened?

Yes it is normal to have oil in these pipes, this question gets asked quite allot.

Read here, I had the same problem with mine a while ago.
