  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default MOT Fail.

Well mot this morning and it failed. track rod end and just short of useless foot/handbrake. to cold to do at home, so I left the bits as already purchased. fitting tomorrow then will decide wether to sell or not.

There was a guide on here somewhere for sticking the adjusters from another Volvo model in the rear drums. Did it to mine and it's passed every year since.

All done. they supplied, fitted track rod end, fitted the brake adjusters I supplied, fitted the four new tyres I supplied, mot. all for £111.33p. it drives really smooth with nice new tyres on. All happy again.

What model of Volvo has these adjusters fitted?
Is it an easy fit?
My MOT looms and I'm sure it will fail on handbrake...

Sounds like you have had a difficult time with this car but hopefully all done now. If it is all too much to bear and you need to sell it please keep me in mind!

don't know about fitting just gave to fitter and he fitted for me.said was ok to fit.

I was thinking you would need to drill a hole somewhere to allow adjustment like on a brake drum?
