s60 passenger window stuck :(
Hey, got a s60..
Just had a torrid night, it was icey and cold, bit of snow as well. Stupidly pressed the passenger window along with the drivers to clear a bit of snow off the window. Now the passenger window is stuck completely down, the drivers window works fine. As do the rear passenger and drivers. We got the door card completely off.. had a look. When i press the switch on both / drivers and passengers there is no noise at all from a motor or a relay, no click or that as such.. however when the drivers window is completly up there is no noise at all when you want it to go higher either.. so not sure if it is designed that way etc.. We also WD40'd the switches on both drivers and passengers for bad contacts, however didn't spray the actual connections where wires meet as such. Fuse number 27 is fine.. think it was the power windows, power mirrors etc one.. thats from what we can see fine, and mirrors also work fine no problem. We are stuck, it seems also the motor is rivetted on? is this the case? Any help would be grand! and Urgent! Any ideas? |
