well folks way back before i was knee deep in amazons at every corner i had my main project on the go my amazon estate which i have had on hold while i tackled other tasks , in other words i have been over run with cars yup the volvo bug hit me hard lol but i cannot complain there such fun cars to work on ( made easier with the likes of the front wings bolt on cough cough way better than welding the suckers on ) so i have sold it to a forum member i will not say who it is im very sure the person will post here in the not so distant future so he will introduce himself and "GreyLady" anyways i decided to part with my personal estate i had spent months/years on which was owned by chris hart yes i am sure most will know the car and what state she was in well them days are LONG GONE and never to come back again for a long while if at all if shes maintained well as i have done a bare metal full restro and upgraded the car in every way ( apart from my custom chrome and extras due to me keeping them for my replacement estate i have got ) see if you guys and gals can remember what she looked like before i will add a couple of before i started then the jump to how shes looking now SEXY as angilina joyle in everyway i have put a lot of love into this car and i will be sad to see here drive off but we cannot keep them all and there is another car waiting to be rescued down the line .....
my main webpage with all her images uptodate ![]() greylady has had a full repaint in metalic grey inside and out the finish is near on concours , even the heater matrix is that good you could eat your dinner from within it - that was blasted and hotcoated took me all this morning to reassemble with new flap seals ![]() what do you think then ??????? kind regards robert

Hi Robert,
Do I see something new and shiny for a heater intake (below the windshield)?

yeah i had it custom modified so it had a solid chrome air intake much nicer than a thin buckled standard one but its not a very easy mod you have to cut away a section then form a recess for the new one to just !!! fit in the centre in its place but boy does that look sexy now just needs some stainless steel mesh and shes done i will use that mod again in the future on any customised cars i have in the workshop which involve a full respray ![]() so do you like the air in take then ?? i thought it worked very well and for those wondering what its off it normally is fitted to a MG so a MG air intake works very well indeed as you can see the results . kind regards robert
