  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default Weather app not working after upgrade

so the weather app is one i use and i upgraded it yesterday. I tried to use it this morning but it tells me that i have 'no internet connection' however all other apps, yelp, wiki, park and pay, tune in etc. all work fine.

Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to but it doesnt fix the problem.

Has anyone else updated and seen this?

I just use the Weather and Tune in apps and they were both working today.

Well the app didnt wokr this morning so i uninstalled and re-installed again, only to receive the same message. Then on the way home this evening the app started itself and is now working. Weird software on these cars!

Mine seems to be in an endless loop of it saying an update is available so I update it and it goes back to saying an update is available.

Volvo need to employ some (more) proper software engineers and extend their testing.

The XC90 software was probably finished off about 18 months ago , what happens when the software engineers move on to a different project or company ? Obviously they document it , but can other software engineers understand it and fault trace it from the written documentation i wonder ? Must be a nightmare !

Perhaps delete the app, leave it uninstalled overnight and try installing it again on your next journey? Just a thought.
