How to remove throttle cable
Hi,
Looking to replace my throttle cable but I can't seem to be able to lift it out of the throttle body - seems to be rusted in place. I am able to pull it off the guide with 1cm to go before the stopper (small metal fastener at very end of throttle cable where it hooks into the TB) but then it appear to be totally stuck in there. I sprayed the stopper with anti-seize, still wont budge. I pulled side-ways pretty hard but it didnt budge either. I suppose I could drill the stopper itself until I bust it up but seems to be a bit of an overkill. Is there a trick to this that I'm unaware of? |
