dead 2.0d v50 after 1 month of ownership.
out and about yesterday and the car developed an engine knock. no warning lights on the dash
steadily got it home and oil is ****ing out all around where the flywheel meets the crank. One shagged volvo after owning less that 1 month and 2k miles. not amused... |

Sounds like you've inherited someone else's problem. That is real bad news and real bad luck.
Have you got an AA/RAC report to fall back on or warranty from the garage you bought it from? |

Not good. Hope you get it sorted out quickly. And at minimal cost.

Don't let perrys fob you off. The sales of goods act comes into play here, any fault with the car that develops in the first 6 months is covered by it. It assumes that a fault like that was known about when the car was sold and they're liable. Look it up, print it off and take it with you. They'll try and get out of it. Don't let them.

Perry shave still got it and sent it it a specialist. I get the impression they are funding the fix as I did throw I the sales of goods act spiel so fingers crossed. If I get a new DMV and clutch out of it I will be over the moon to be honest.
