Lloyd Volvo Carlisle - Highly Recommended

I needed some parts for my 940, so called into Lloyd Volvo Carlisle to price them up.

I ordered a water pump which I previously priced up, £48.60 retail paid £34.02 30% discount.

The nivomats I went to price were quoted at £150.00 which is 30% off retail, but still hurts, so I told them I would have a look and get back to them.

Found them on Euro Car Parts at £143.47 but not in stock. Went back to Lloyd and told them what I found and asked if they could do anything on their price?

They supplied me them at £141.89 which is cost +5% and gave me free of charge 4 litres of antifreeze.

All prices are exc. VAT.

They would rather make 5% of something than 100% of nothing.

You can't go past these guys for service, they are outstanding.

Last year I was after an Ignition Coil Multi Plug for my 480 Turbo. I found one for £18.50 from a place in Southsea (Portsmouth). Good price.

However these are attached to the coil on the 480 models. Yes you can easily unbolt the plug from the coil.

Why not replace both,should the need arise? Well coil & plug together from Volvo are about £120 new!

On a 'whim' after hearing my 'plea' last year my father-in-law rang Lloyds in Carlisle & they said that they had a coil & multi-plug which they had only used for testing cars that were in with a fault & now no longer used. They were mine, if I wanted them for £30!! Bargain! No brainer!

Last year I purchased a Water Pump for my 240 from German & Swedish. Paid nearly £50 for an Italian job, perhaps should have tried Lloyds for that as well?

So from 'a distance' (France) I'd reccomend Lloyds as well!

Nowt to lose, so give em' a try.

All genuine Volvo parts.

They are really good and try to be competitive.

I have got parts cheaper from them than I could from Nordic or Part for Volvo.

I have nothing but praise for Lloyd Volvo. Very helpful, nothing is a problem, they travel 30 miles to pick my car up for service and leave me a courtesy car. Always get a good discount on parts.
