Applying Volvo badge in aftermarket grill

Has anyone succeeded at applying the original Volvo badge in these aftermarket grills?

Not bad on that XC, but I would want the full badge in the center, just like in the original grill

Don't you have your original grill so you can test fit the badge?

I have do mine with a Parts For Volvo grill.

I used Delta Adhesive Plastic Stick D306 to stick it on with. A bit hard to do as I had to bend the cross bar around the grill and then clamp it in place till it set, I would really prefer to grind into the grill so it sits in an indent like the original version.
