Question Volvo caravan towing wiring

Hi Guys, Can anyone help please. Volvo XC70 2008 D5. When I bought the car it had a Volvo tow bar fitted with 7 pin trailer socket wired to a module in the rear. It works fine, however there is no provision for battery charging and fridge power for a caravan, so I have decided to fit a 13 pin socket with the existing wiring and fitting two extra wires wired direct to the battery at the front of the car with relays/fuses etc.
My question is has anyone else done this, and where do they take an ignition switched live from?
Could it be that there is provision in the module but that it needs the correct loom and or module, the present one has plenty of output pins in the socket but does not seem to have a heavy enough input wire from the fuse box in the cargo area!
Your thought would be very welcome please.

Think you would be better off buying a Volvo 13 pin set as it is plug and play

If you wanted to go with your original plan of using the existing wiring for the trailer lighting you could use one of the smart charging relays to provide power for charging & fridge in the caravan.
then you only need to run a live from the battery with a fuse at the battery end to the relay and it will switch when the voltage exceeds 13.5V.
this is the type of thing I mean.
