RE: carb change
Only if your manifold is built for twin carburettors or you are referring to a twin-choke Dell-Orto carburettor. You may need some form of adaptation to ensure clearance in the engine bay and insulation (heat) of the carb body from the manifold. You could ask someone who tunes and races Renault engined cars. There is a chap who does just such a thing with Renault Clios based in Swansea but uses Pembrey for testing and race meetings. He lives near Lampeter (South-West Wales).
All the best, Peter |

RE: carb change
Hi.
I would say that, as the 1.8i uses a single point injector unit NOT a carburettor, the answer is no. So modification will be necessary, I would have thought. Dan. |
