Default Amazon running after Winter break

My Amazon has been sitting in the garage since the end of September having its winter rest. As it was a nice sunny day here I thought I would give it a run. Since September I did not disconnect the battery, only cleaned it and left the handbrake off. Amazing it started third time and ran perfectly. You can only love the good old fashined engineering and quality of these old Volvo`s.

Mine was the same after it had been stood a few months while i have been working on it, i charged the battery for half an hour and put a gallon of fresh fuel in and it started after a few seconds of turning and settled down to a smooth tickover once warmed up. I did notice a little drip of oil from between the engine and bellhousing after a run round the housing estate so thats something else to attend to.

Mine was the same.
Despite living outside it would start after weeks of idleness, even in sub zero conditions.

Tail, dont be hasty assuming its an oil leak. It might be condensation washing some oil loose, cold block and bell housing in damp atmospherics. Keep an eye for a few drives, then decide.
