Default V70 Front Grill 2005 T5 (again) Sorry!!

How do I remove the front grill and fit a replacement better looking grill. Have searched but find a lot of information regarding bumper removal. Do I have to go down this road. Has any person done this successfully without removing the bumper, or is it better to remove the bumper. Any help appreciated.
Looking at the egg crate grill sold by Volvo Parts on line unless anybody has any other supplier, could be a mesh type.

I Have Seen the front grill removed by a dealer without taking the front bumper cover off by using a long screwdriver to somehow press the clips down, but never done it myself so im not sure how, I suppost there's some trick to it.

Hi, No need for bumper removal -
The way I did it was to look between the slats of the grill, you should see clips holding the grill in, you need to slip something inbetween the slats and unhook the clips. ( I used a thin screwdriver with the end bent back on itself. )
If I recall correctly I think there are 5 clips.
I also seem to think it was easier to push the part the clip grips away, as apposed to trying to lift the actual clips themselves!
Hope this helps.
