This large Swede has the VAG 5-pot diesel engine and has served me well for the last 6 months or so. I need to clear space (12 cars is too many) so it's up for sale, and no trades. Since I've had it it's had new pads, suspension bushes, track rod ends and tyres.
It's got ABS (working) cruise control (working) aircon (working) dual zone climate, full leather interior, heated front seats. Factory CD & tape player with lots of speakers and controls on the steering wheel. The only issue I am aware of is a faulty alarm siren, common problem on these, but remote locking etc works fine. The bodywork is reasonable with the odd age related mark, theres a small dent on the bonnet that may push out, but to me the car was a workhorse so I never bothered.

I've some history from before my ownership, which indicates the cambelt & waterpump were done @ 83k, the interval on these is 80k, so it's not due for a while.

This is one of the most comfortable cars I've driven. I regularly do 300+ miles a day in it without worry and get out at the other end still feeling fresh. The autobox and cruise control makes long distances a breeze.

You may think the price is a tad high, but please note that everything on the car works (except the alarm siren) and it has T&T until November, that's about £150 worth of tax. If the asking price is met I will include a set of 15" steel wheels with winter tyres on.

Is the S80 still for sale? I saw the ad when it was cross linked on Pistonheads and I am quite interested in it. I am in Nottingham and can get over to see it tomorrow if it has not sold?

I shall likely return to the forum at some point as it's a very friendly and helpful place. I did like the S80, so may have another at some point ... possibly a T6
