Default A/C compressor O rings

Anybody know where I can get an pipe O ring kit to refit the A/C compressor on my V70?

Also any tip on fitting the new compressor?

Thanks.

To fit a new compressor you will have to remove the gas in the system into a recovery bottle with a machine which I guess you don't have if you are asking this question, then to regasse it you will need to vac out the system ,test for leaks then regass/oil up the system.
It's not a DIY job as to work with aircon gasses you now need a
Licence to do this.
But to refit it is almost like changing a alternator if that's any help.
Just pull the tensioner up for the belt and put a locking pin in it to keep the tension off.

Thanks for the reply. I should've explained a bit of history, sorry. The A/C stopped working a few weeks ago. The gas had all gone and a re-gas only lasted a few days. U/V dye was put in and the system re-pressurised. The dye showed all over the compressor, (not round the pipe unions) I've got a free re-gas lined up at Kwik-fit.

There is now no gas in the system so I've got a replacement compressor and need the new O rings for the pipe unions for refitting. I need to find where I can get a set of O rings. I've looked around but can't find anywhere.

I'm I right in assuming you can get access to the compressor from underneath the car?

Thanks again.

£7 from Volvo? Must've been in the bargain bin. :-D I'll nip down to Rybrook's tomorrow.
