Hard suspension?
I'm hoping someone out there will be able to shed some light on this one... last year i traded in my 1996 850GLT saloon for my 1999 V70 T5. Both were / are fantastic cars but the V70 doesn't give such a good driving experiance, it seems to have a harsher ride (every bump felt!) but rolls more in corners compared to the 850 which was fantastic!
Both cars were fitted at the factory with the lowered option with nivomats on the rear and have the same wheels on (T5r alloys). I know that the estates where fitted with different shocks and springs, would this make this difference? or are the estates simply like that, or maybe its a V70 thing!? After drving it for almost a year I have decided I want to sort it out as i'm missing the drive the 850 used to give! Any thoughts, comments or advise greatfully recieved! Cheers |

Could be different tyres. Top quality tyres can make a big improvement to handling and ride... and vice versa
