There's Deeside Motor Centre in Connah's Quay - might be useful if you're in the north-east. Used to take my V70 Classic there once it was out of Volvo warranty, and have never had a problem with them. I'm back at the main dealers (either Rybrook Chester or Slaters Abergele, I can never quite decide which one I prefer!) for a while, though - the new V70 is under Volvo warranty until April '09. I know it probably wouldn't affect the warranty if I took it to an indie to have work done, but I don't want to risk it - plus, if I take it in for a service or whatever, and they find something that needs doing under the warranty, they can do it there and then.

The guys in Bala should know Volvo's reasonably well; Dad can remember signing them upto Volvo when he was younger (about 30yrs ago....) They still specialise in Volvo's now, and last time I was there they had some nice stock
