Default Hi

Have you taken the valve off and put 12 V across it ? It should move .
You can remove the spool and clean the internals . They do get bunged up with crud . All you need is a new gasket .

Hi

I took the valve off of my 'to be scrapped' 2002 V70 along with the cam position sensor

Now I need to move the car and I need it to start

I've got a spare cam position sensor but I don't have a VVT valve

Unless the car will start and run without one?? It need to drive literally approx 20 metres!!

I assumed not as I think it's monitored by the ECU and now all of the oil galleries are exposed......

Yes, obvious I know

Though it's out of a single garage up an incline and then needs to do 90°......

And you'd be surprised how many people 'are busy that day .....'

Something I'll remember!!!!
