Default Turning off headlights

Hi guys, firstly I hope this is the right place to put this? if it's not, sorry mods I'm a newbie to the forum and have recently purchased myself a lovely S60 D5 auto. As probably the same as most off you guys my headlights are not the best due to the headlights being on all the time - which drives me mad - or rather, it did. When I got the car I did a lot of searching around to see if they could be turned off. I found some people who said no it's dealer only option and some who reckon it could be done by the right person. Well this is just a little post to say mine have been done 'by the right person' lol, so if anyone in the Birmingham (or surrounding area) wants theirs turning off I can tell you of a local chap to me who can do it for you. I can now go and fit my new headlights.

Are the lenses that far gone? Or do you mean you're going to change the bulbs?

Do you have to declare this as a mod for insurance purposes?

Hi Jon, no mate, not bulbs, i've bought myself a brand new pair of VALEO headlights (the boxes they came in are huge lol) To be honest they're the only thing on the car that let it down. I got them through a mate in the trade.

Great news, thank you. I'll give you a should if I'm heading down that way. I'm the other side of Southampton.

Since it's a dealer option I presume it's not a problem.

Of course if you crash during twilight due to not suitably illuminating your car then it's your own fault :P

Hey CaptainSlow3h37, Is it possible to send me the procedure for disabling the daytime headlights. In less you are planning a trip to California in the near future.
Thanks for your help
