Volvo V70 2.0 SE 136 bhp as a towcar?
Hi, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. I am looking at buying a brand new V70 2.0 diesel 136 bhp, does anyone have any experience of this as a towcar and if so could you give me any feedback, good or bad please. I went to test drive yesterday and to be honest i was blown away by the ride and general quality of the car. For the past 10 years or more i have been a VAG driver but the V70 couold well be the car to tempt me away, but i'm just a little worried as to it's performance as a towcar. I have read the weights etc and they are excellent, so i know it has the capability but would like some honest reviews of it in action.
Thanks in advance Ray |

This engine is detuned in BHP but not torque it still has plenty , i would take another test drive , find a long steep hill and go up it in a high gear from 1500 rpm and see how it pulls you up ..
The horsepower starts to work for you over 3000 rpm . but in any of the D5 D4 D3 versions you find its not very often you venture over 3000 rpm :-)
