Default Volvo V90 rubber floor mats

Hi I am looking for a little advice re floor mats.

I saw a brand new set of genuine mats for a v90 on a dealers website.

I called up and and they told me they are for a v90 rhd manual.

However I don't recall a right hand drive manual for sale in the UK. I tried to check with the dealer and was told mats for a v90, s90 and cross country are all different, meaning 6 different sets for the auto and manual of each car.

We are on out 3rd v90 and from my understanding all mats are identical in terms of fitment and no manuals

I didn't want to push it as the staff member was really helpful and gave me a discount on something else.

Am I right in thinking all rhd and lhd mats will fit all respective variants?

I would think the front mats will be different for LHD to fit the foot well, every set of mats I have ever had has different mats for each front floor space, they will be the opposite way round on LHD to RHD.

Select a car in the top right corner and you can check what fits what using the part numbers.

Still not entirely sure of your question.

However. Mats for a manual and auto will likely be different as the auto gets the foot rest I think and the manual doesn't. This means the floor profile will be different. I also have never seen a v90 manual in the UK, but I guess they do exist somewhere in the world. Dealers are known to accidentally order the wrong parts and if they don't return them in 24hours they are stuck with them. So maybe that is why they have these?

At the back of Stoneacre Ford in Doncaster they run an Ebay operation clearing loads of parts from all their franchises including Volvo. This entails shifting loads of lhd parts ordered by mistake when they wanted the equivalent rhd part. The guy told me that a buyer often buys loads of the parts and then comes in a van from Poland to collect them. One assumes that he then re-sells then in Poland. It's a funny old world sometimes...
