Headlight upgrade
Hi all, I want to upgrade my single headlamp (h4s) on my 2000 (w) S40 to twin headlamps. What I want to know is this: is it easier to change the wiring to the 5 pin headlamps (as found on 96-00 T4s phase I) or the 4 pin arrangement that followed in phase II.
Thanks all Rob

Headlight upgrade
i just done this with the 4 pin phase 2 headlights and found this to be easy as the only wire that you dont use is the live from the sidelight bulb as it takes it the live from the main beam if your going to do it and can get a peice of the wiring loom from a doner car with the plugs on makes it a bit easier
belive me the car now lights the road so much better than the single headlight problem if you pm me i will send you the wiring diagram and the fix for full beam keeping a constant live to dipped beam. as after you put twin headlights in the dipped go out when putting full beam on :-) |
