saw this car 3 yrs ago at bkv i think, it was in the carpark it was very nice i was drooling over it but still abit high on price i would have thought but the rarity will push up the price good luck with the sale

I purchased the car in August 2007 and have lovingly cared for the car ever since. There was also of service history with the car including the dealer service book and I have had the car meticulously maintained at an independent Volvo Specialistt called Sheffiled & Meredith in Leicester.



The condition is very good for an original 30 year old car and I can say that having driven an identical model which my late father owned during the 1980s, it performs on a par with that one, which I used as a bench mark when I first test drove this car. This is testament to the quality of servicing this car has received throughout its life. The power delivery is very smooth and strong.



I have a vast multitude of spares which are from an identical model 1982 264GLE



These were acquired from a Dolorean enthusiast who was stripping his 264 as he only wanted the engine from the donor car as these have the same engines used in the DeLoreans and his engine had failed. It was too good an opportunity to refuse and I hired a van and stripped down the car for all the spares he had.

Full set of matching seats.

1 additional spare alloy.

As I say these are identical colour and trim specification so I have a complete hospital kit should I ever be unfortunate to require any of these(hopefully that will never be the case)



The bodywork is very good but If I am splitting hairs, the sunroof has lost a little of the top coat of lacquer and the rear wheel arches(a small area near the rear mudflaps) could be tidied up, but these are minor and would not require a vast amount to make 100%.
