Driver Side Front Indicator Fault!
I have a 2002 V40 Estate Turbo Diesel with a problem with the driver side front indicator fault. When stalk is switched for a right turn, the indicators blink fast internally with a fast clicking sound. The rear and front side repeaters indicators flash fast but the front indicators does not operate.
At first I thought it was the bulb or bulb holder unit so I switched the working indicator bulb unit from the front passenger side over to the driver side as a test. It didn't work so this means the problem is in the wiring or a device in between the fuse and bulb unit connector that is not working. I am after an electrical wiring diagram showing how the circuit is connected and parts that could be at fault. CEM has been replaced and fuse works. |

Complete wiring diagrams here: http://volvos40v40.johnavis.com/blog..._TP3959202.pdf
Most probably a wiring issue, a short or something. Indicators will always flash fast, when 1 of the 4 bulbs has failed, and it serves as a warning to let you know that one bulb has failed. I guess that if there is a short or a fault, the indicators will also flash fast
