Hi there any chance I could prise a little more information out of you.I realise your selling it for very little money but people still want to know what there getting for thier money, especially these days as money gets tighter. For instance is it manual or automatic gearbox?Any service history?Whats the interior like condition wise. How good are the tyres?Has it got any niggley little faults. The more information the more likely you'll get a buyer.
I see it's a 2.3L. Many Thanks Brian. |

Hi Gareth thank you for the info.Very good of you to offer it here instead of just chopping it in.
I'm looking for a project car myself and a 240 saloon is what I'm after. But looking at the distance from me to you is a bit to far(as usual)My postcode is ox264ft,,Oxfordshire..A real shame as being a 2.3L and manual ticked enough of my box's. 205 miles nearly four hour drive! An awful lot of petrol just to bring it back? Hope you sell it here but good luck anyway. Look forward to seeing the interior pictures. Many Thanks Brian. |

Hi Gareth just been looking at trains and coaches.
Flipping heck.Coach is cheap but 9H-40min,£41.One change. Train a bit quicker at 6H-36min.£70.50.Two changes. Good of you to offer to bring it part way.Lets see if you get an easier offer. It's not the price just the fact I have things on at the mo and life is a bit complicated/hectic. I will watch to see what happens with interest. Come on folks it's a lovely looking saloon for very little money. Many Thanks Brian. |

Heres a dangerous thought, get a lift to the AGM then cadge a lift of Dai Brace 120 reg keeper from Anglesea as its 40 miles betweenn Pwllheli and Anglesea. If you can pull that off would save some trekking. AGM is 4 weeks this Sunday and I will most likely be stopping in Banbury on Sat night if you want picked up.

Hi Gareth sorry I won't be buying your glt but distance and lack of enthusiasm from the wife for yet another car that needs paying for isn't forthcoming.
I really hope you get at least what you paid for it and more. And don't forget were we are when you buy another volvo(you will it's a disease) I'll just have to find a scrapper for next to nothing that's more local to me.I'll still get hassle but more tolerable hassle Lol. And could I just say a big thankyou to two members who offered to help me collect this car especially as the distances involved were great.Dai Brace(120 register keeper)and Cumbrianmale(Forum support team) Regards Brian. |
