selling my 855 t5( turbo s)
After 3 happy yrs i,ve decided to sell the t5 and go back to using the diesel citroen ive got sorned. So here's the spec,1994 estate in dark metallic green(looks blue in some lights) 139k auto, dark cream leather, chipped ecu will manage fuel/boost/ign to 1.2bar with right turbo etc. just passed mot 21/7/12 now exp 18 aug 2013. 7 seats, load cover, cargo net, roof rails, spoiler cruise cont, elec heat seats.cambelt done 2k ago perfect gearbox much better than the mercs and bmw's i've had before.uses no oil or water.Whats wrong with it, the aircon doesnt work and the trip/odometer packed up 1000miles ago.I tried to sell it last yr and again this yr on pistonheads but withdrew the ad cos i couldn't bear to part with it but i've got to "man-up" and be practical. I,ve got some photos which i'll try to attach if i can work it out.Looking for a swap with a diesel 850 estate or £1000.I,m in Reading RG30

Its a nice looking car, shame about the few minor issues it has, but that lowish mileage will help you out there.
The market isn't really good at the moment for selling these, due to the rising cost of fuel and cost of living (as I found out a few months back) - I ended up selling mine for £550 and it was very similar to yours in spec and condition (although manual) I hope the market does come back up at some point - it means cars like this will come back on demand - these t5's are great little motors! Best of luck with the sale

thanks paffel, you are right about the real value but it seems like a lot of car for peanuts but then you can buy a newer decent bmw or merc for similar money,it will go eventually but the economy is not right for running these beasts, people want diesels or small petrols, thats why i'm selling, ive got a citroen diesel on a sorn and it just doesnt make sense.

The newer Mercs I've seen are rust buckets, I wouldn't swap my P reg V70 for a newer Merc!
