940 heater control panel....
Yeah, the bulb(s?) has gone.
It hasn't got aircon. Thing is - how do I get the damned panel off? I,ve removed the four screws but there's 2 metal lugs in the way. It seems unlikely that the lugs were meant to bent back so can someone please advise me? Ta muchly. |

Unfortunately that nice Mr Haynes doesn't tell you! Are you sure that you need to get the panel off? You may find that by removing the side panel between the dash and the floor you can get you hand in to the bulb holder. They usually twist out! Bulb is probably cap less but not sure.

Once the dashboard surround is off, pull the knobs out and then slide the front plate off the spindles. The bulb is behind.

take the stereo out, and then the plastic box the stereo sits it. Finally remove the metal bracket that bolts to the sides and holds the ECC unit in place
