I'd say the R AWD. But I'm biased.

How is your car coming along? Have you sorted out your bigger intercooler yet? Or your aircon? Or your custom map? Or have you just given up?

Hi if you want to save your tyres the awd is better, however it is not as fast as the fwd, and more expensive on fuel, but does offer better grip on twisty road.
I agree saffron is the best and only colour for the v70's
Regards Julian

Default V70R or V70R AWD

It has to be automatic

I would favour the V70 R auto.......only because I owned one for 7 years. The R sits lower than the AWD due to not having the prop shafts and AWD mechanisms.......plus, you have to keep all 4 tyre treads depths pretty much even or you can upset the awd system

Pros & cons re tyres, at least awd cars don't kill there tyres every 6k.
I've owned my R AWD virtually since new 1998 auto and just love it, so Charllote my vote definitely goes for an R AWD

Get the AWD and if you aren't happy with it, take the prop shaft to the rear axle off?
