Angry water ingress

Hi, I have 2010 v50 drive "E " R/H r/h drive: I have water getting into the foot well behind my driving seat, I have proved it is Not coming from the a/c ducting
.The door seals seem to be in good condition. Any known issues with ingress of water thru the roof gutter infill plastic strip between mounting points for the roof rails maybe a bad seal under that strip, ( bearing in mind the windscreen seal problems due to bad assembly/ adhesion. Iwonder if water could get to the floor via inside of the door pillar. I dried carpet and placed shallow tray under a/c duct beneath driver seat, no water in tray but water appears in the carpet days later after rain, anyone help? Regards, Mike.

Does the car have a sunroof? If so, most likely a drain hose blocked. There is one drain from each corner of the sunroof - one either side down the A pillars and one either side down the C pillars.

Angry Water ingress.

No sun roof on this estate, no water in any other footwells in fact the floor area directly under driver seat is not wet, but the area where the rear passenger would place their feet is the wettest spot. During snow last year I found water
dripping from interior roof light and later a drip from the headlining just above
the rear door but sign of water at does spots since then, now it's the footwell.
I don't know if the tube supplying the rear window washer passes thru the drivers side headlining or is it under the carpet along driver/passenger side, if so could it be leaking? just don't know where it is routed. I think i will carefully cut out the footwell carpet up to the sill and see if i can locate water coming down (I am not going to try removing the entire carpet /seats etc.) thats a nightmare. I will repost if I find anything. Thank you for your interest and suggestion, I will post what I find under carpet and hope I can get rid of the smell. Regard: Mike.
