Gaz Gold Coilovers for P2 S40 / V40 - bargain time...
Stumbled over these in the garage again... need a new home.
These have covered about 5000 miles or so; never seen a track; the front shocks have just been checked over by Gaz, serviced and returned to me. The kit comprises front and rear shocks and springs, and from memory other bits like top mounts and bump stops as well, but don't quote me on that. I know that it is missing the two elliptical bolts for camber adjustment, so the happy buyer will need to get a pair from Gaz (should be a fairly nominal cost). Need rid so £385 collected or can ship at cost. Less than half the price of the new kit! Cheers...

If you still have these around 22nd of October I'll probably have 'em off you. I take it they fit a T4?

Im interested in this kit as I'm about to change my knackered shocks on my 2003 sport lux.
would this kit be soft enough for everyday road use? Also do you have any pics of the bits you have? Many thanks, steve. |

Hi all... sorry for the delay in replying.
First here's a photo that I took at the weekend of the kit: As you can see it's complete as described above, some surface rusting but nothing significant as far as I can tell. And in response to the queries thus far:
Cheers...

Also, can they only be adjusted whilst off the car? The adjuster looks to be in an awkward place? |

I never ran them at "most soft" but I think they'd probably be similar to the stock sports suspension.
You can adjust them on the car, I did several times, you just have to crawl around on the ground and have monkey hands (or jack the car up).

Looking at the adjustment rings can the ride height be adjusted to be the same as the stock sport height? Or only a 10-20mm drop - my arcadias might touch if they were lower I'm thinking.
