Default Rearcanti roll bar bushes

I have a 2007 xc70 d5 185 bhp, the rear anti-roll bar bushes have gone. Can anyone recommend a seller they have used, and can I fit them in situ? Thanks

Not sure about your vehicle type but on mine (2004 S60) I was stuck replacing the whole darned ARB. Job wasn't too bad but mine was FWD so probably a simpler job than on your XC70. I would have left it as is except that in Ontario you need a safety to get it reg'd and the mechanic had flagged the bushes as failed.

I got these back in March for our 03 V70.

Bar didn't have to come out. The old ones came off real easy and you split the new to get them on.

I've typed in my car model but I seem to be getting two sizes, 19mm and 21 mm. Does anyone know which one? I can't measure under the car at the moment as wife is away in it.

I had to go in and measure. Not the easiest with the bar being distorted at the bends and so forth, plus the blistering paint.
With a vernier, taking a selection of measurements at the fairly straight bits it should be easy enough to tell 19 from 21
You would imagine................

You don’t even need a vernier; a 19mm open needed spanner either will or won’t gonover it....

If it helps, I only thought of that after struggling for far too long in a wet car park, many, many years ago.....

Default ARB Bushes

When shaking the rear 19mm ARB on my car, how much movement in the original rubber bushes, would necessitate changing them?
I have aprox.1mm and 2mm spaces between the rubbers and the roll bar.
The original bushes on the front ARB appear to be OK.

I would replace if the bar could move.
There was a clunk in our n/s when going over speed bumps.
The gap on the bar was of that kind of size, the rubber had separated from it.
