XC60 Release in UK

G/day

A couple of questions;

1.When did this vehicle first appear for purchase within the UK?

2. What engine configurations were available?

3. Is the T6 available, I know they are thirsty on the urban cycle anyone have any comment?

4. Any gripes or things to be aware of on accepting delivery would be appreciated.

Lets see if I can get this one right....

1. I believe the first cars were delivered in the autumn of 2008.

2. 2.4D (163 bhp), D5 (185 bhp) and T6 (272 bhp) all AWD models. Now been replaced by: 2.4D 2WD (175 bhp), D5 AWD (twin turbo 205 bhp) and T6 (272 bhp). In some markets, you also have 2.4D AWD (163 bhp).

3. Yes. Very very few available. I have driven it - sweet!! But extremley thirsty due to heavy car, AWD drivetrain and high ride height. Very poor residual.

4. Not sure.... picking mine up today!
