Childrens car seats in 480's

Hi

I need a car seat for my 12month old daughter that will fit a rear seat in my 480?

Any reccomendations, best fit etc

I admitted defeat on this subject, and have had to use one in the front (which also required a longer seatbelt to be fitted!)

Most councils have a road safety department which will help with seats, although my nearest one stated 'we have immense problems with this model!' and only recommended a front seat one - which is a problem if you have a passenger airbag.

Hi - I am currently searching for a seat to fit my 480 too. My elder daughter was big enough to switch to a booster type seat which fits fine, when we got the car but now I'm pregnant again! Don't want to give the car up, even though clambering in the back to belt the kids in isn't the easiest!

My friend suggested having a new seat belt fitted - I was wondering if this was possible in the back? Found that although belts long enough for a car seat with slender supports, they have a plastic notch on them that interferes with the seats locking systems!

A real pain!

Would be grateful to hear if you have found a solution.

Ive eventually fitted a britax trio car seat. The seat is just (and i mean just) the right size. (you have to put weight on the seat to get the belt in, but it is solid as a rock.

it turns into a booster seat once the baby is older.
