Used to have a bifuel that did this. First check the engine bay solenoid (on same bracket as vaporiser), the plastic cracks with heat cycles and the coil becomes intermittent before completely failing. Result, no fuel and a stopped engine.

Mine was actually the stepper motor, hope it's not that! £££

In my experience ( 8 years with a 2003 S60 Bifuel ), it's likely to be the stepper motor. I had the whole gas distributor replaced 7 years ago, then that same distributor was cleaned out and another stepper motor fitted 3 years ago, by an independent LPG garage in Edinburgh. Not long after buying the car, with 76000 miles on it, it started displaying the exact same symptoms as yours. At 150000 miles, I've just had all the coil packs replaced after failing, as well as the throttle body.

As your other posts, I'll bet my mortgage this will be the stepper, and the usual issue with it at that.
