Hi,

Do you have a sun roof?

If so check the drain pipes for the roof, will be near the top of the rear wheel arches...

Des. . .

Taste the water, if sweet you have a coolant leak, if ordinary tasting then your leak will be caused by either the plenum chamber (where the wiper gears are) drains being blocked, or the left hand sidewall electrical loom grommet has become partially detatched allowing body run off water to get into the car body (if this is the reason there will be large amounts of water, which will get into the rear seat pans if you park nose uphill). Information is in the archive on how to cure these leaks. Occasionally there is a vent which has been plugged by a solid rubber type square grommet at the lower edge of the sidewall (may be under carpet) whose mastic has become loose.

All the best, Peter.
