Exclamation Road Sign Information - Speed limit stuck at 70mph

Apologies if this has already been asked .. I did a quick check and didn't see anything.
Since the last couple of days I've noticed my new 2023 XC60 has 70mph displayed in the Road Sign Information for all roads... even though I know for sure that the road is 30mph that I am travelling along.
I'm assuming this is a bug?! Not sure if there is a reset somewhere?

Does the sat nav show you in the correct location?

Try a centre screen reset, this will restart everything, could be a glitch in the system.

Thank you all. I did the centre screen reset trick and still saw 70mph but then I went into Google Maps and after driving around for a short bit, it seemed to pick up that I was in a 30mph zone - not sure if the reset trick or maps or both ... but for the moment its working!!
I'm learning that the Volvo XC60 can be temperamental

My system sometimes doing this when i have phone connected to use sat nave through Android auto. Something like sensus nav cannot get info from the map when AA is connected.

The Sensus cars mostly used the road sign recognition camera system to display the speed limit of the road you are on rather than any map data (due to the sensus mapping being nowhere near as accurate or detailed as Google Maps used in the AAOS system) with the discrpancy between the actual speed limit of the road and the limit displayed in the car usually being that the camera didnt recognise the sign when you originally passed it.

I believe the AAOS cars use only Google Maps speed limit data to display the current roads speed limit with no camera system installed for road sign recognition. Great when the GPS and car tracking is working but if it isn't, not ideal and only as accurate as Googles mapping is. I have been on many roads where the system says its one speed when it has been a very different speed, likely changed not too long ago and not updated on Googles systems.

Not convinced about this statement as I'm sure that my car recognises temporary speed restrictions, for example around roadworks and motorway / dual carrageway signs - so there must be some sort of camera setup.

My previous car (with the camera recognition system) would change the limit as soon as it passed a sign (if the camera spotted it of course) including smart motorways and short term speed restrictions but my current AAOS car very rarely responds after passing a speed limit sign, it usually updates the limit well before or quite far after any speed limit change sign. As I pass very short term speed restrictions, my limit never changes to the new speed limit (as it would if there was a camera recognition system in use) but it will if the speed restriction or road works have been there for some time (i.e. more than a couple of days), it will change but I can only assume that this data is all stored on Googles systems.
I haven't yet been on a smart motorway with my current car when the speed limit changes between gantries to see if it responds to that but from my other experiences, its unlikely which is strange for Volvo as they are a very safety biased manufacturer. I can only assume that not installing the sign recognition camera and processing hardware is quite a significant cost saving during build.

Or it could be that the hardware is the same but the new software isn't as effective as the Sensus software.

There are definitely alot less camera's/viewing units installed in the Intellisafe module (above/behind the rear view mirrow) on my new car compared to my older car.

Just looked through my cars online Manual at the Road Sign Information feature and spotted this note:
Note: In certain markets, the road sign information function is only available in combination with map data. This may require the settings for Google Maps to be changed.

No hint at what market this is aimed at but I'm guessing at least the UK from how I'v see my cars operating.
