Happy New Year! My brake calipers are looking a dull, matt gunmetal grey colour. When new, they were a bright silver. Have yours gone the same way and has anyone painted theirs yet...if so any tips?

Yep,
Mines have gone the same way and with the 20" rims it looks .....well dull. Might take the wheels off next time the temperature manages to go above zero and clean them up.

you can get specific paint that you spray on the calipers to make them silver, or red, or blue ...

Just make sure it is high temp paintb suitable for calipers otherwise you will get a strange burning smell in the car when you stop

Halfords seem to stock the spray paint. May well try it.

Maybe just a good clean-up required then paint them black, have to wait until better weather though.

I used that once, but next time wanted a more specific colour, so changed to Hammerite (which was popular on the forums i used at the time). Got to say, it gave a good finish which in my opinion lasted longer than the high temp stuff, and i never had any problems with smell, peeling, etc.
