Volvo V70 Torslanda For Sale
Hi everybody,
I have for sale my late father's Volvo V70 Torslander. He owned the car from new & was the sole owner. I'm the registered keeper & have been driving it for the last few months without any problems. The car is a 2001, 51 plate, Volvo V70 Torslanda Petrol engine, 2.4L. MoT was in October & this expires on October 27th 2014 - 10 months left. Tax was also October for 12 months - likewise, 10 months left. It has 86,000 miles on it. Its Blue, the dark blue. I have all the old MoT's from 2005 to date. I have all the service invoices. At the last MoT it was given a service by a Volvo Dealership. It has a full service history. Service history is stamped up to year 7 & then a gap before the year 12 service stamp. The car's mileage is still too low for the year 8 / 90K mile stamp hence why the garage stamped year 12! It comes with 2 full sets of keys & remotes. It has a towbar thats detachable, not currently fitted, its in the boot - somewhere!! There were 2 advisories at the 2012 MoT which were the same at the 2013 MoT. These were the "nearside & offside drag link end ball joint has slight play". I have no idea what that means... The front tyres were pointed out as being near the limit, 78% worn. Front brake pads are 50% worn. Issues that I've found that may put you off... 1) Dad scraped the front wing - not badly but it is noticeable 2) There's a patch of laminate on the bonnet that seems to have come off - its about 5cm by 8cm - any half decent body shop should be able to fix it. Maybe even a competant DiY repair as well. 3) The mirror adjuster knob on the drivers armrest has split open, you can still use it - its just irritating. I was going to get it repaired at the service but then balked at the Volvo switch price...! 4) There are some small dents in the doors from the usual careless carparkers that we're all forced to share this planet with. None are standout, in your face, but they're there. Generally, the car has been very well looked after, its nice to drive, the kids have plenty of room in the back, lots of passenger legroom, etc. The cars based in Sudbury, Suffolk. I suppose I'd like offers in the region of £1750 for this car, it has a lot of miles to give yet & has a full service history with one owner which is quite rare. I have no idea how to post pictures here but I have some I can mail to you if you'd like to contact me. Drop us a line on the site's PM facility if you're interested. Cheers! 9TM |

Hi all,
Quick update for you. Car is now for sale locally and priced £1250 with no offers. Same offer applies here, £1250, no offers - it needs to move on sadly. It'll be on evil bay tomorrow. 9TM |
