Hi All, I need to replace some of the bulbs on the instrument panel and would like to know what types are they and where I can get them. I have looked on eBay and there are LED type s, but not sure. Any advice/help appreciated.
Cheers

Somewhere or other i did a thread on renewing the 740 LEDs in the instrument cluster, all T5 and T10 types. Most of the information on the bulbs applies to the 940 but the method of removing the cluster is different.

Try https://www.classiccarleds.co.uk/ for them dearer than ebay but at least they last and are more consistent brightness!

I use t10 5050 5 SMD warm white bulbs for the 4 main ones, and there's one t5 5050 1 SMD warm white bulb required behind the 70 mph area.

I bought a pack from china, been fine for 8+ years. Something like these ones. The t5 286 5050 1 SMD bulbs are extinct on ebay, but autoleds.co.uk sells them autoleds sell them.

Here's a video from a few days ago. Video or pictures always make the colours look slightly off, but the warm white bulbs are a 100% match to stock ones.

Ignore that bulb out behind the custom water gauge, it's a different type that keeps failing.😅

If you want just standard incandescent replacements, then the 4 main ones are t10 3w 504 bulbs:

And the t5 1.2w 286 bulb:

It's stock chip mapping Luke. It's with the idle valve bypassed and set manually though.

They are a bit longer but they do fit, just! They also fit in the door edge warning and number plate sockets.
