Default More headlight questions!

Hi all, new member here looking for some help.

I have a 2006 S60 which I inherited from my Father. I live in France and would like to swap the original RHD headlights for LHD equivalents.

The existing lamps are Valeo units, numbered 30698829 & 8830. Most of the searches I have done suggest the numbers should be 8825 & 8826. Can anyone confirm if they are the same or not?

Secondly, the replacement units I have found do not come with level adjustment motors, so I presume I can take them off my existing lights?

Thanks

Put your NIN number into https://www.skandix.de/en/ and you should be able to find the part numbers you require

Sorry, I meant to say that I had done a check on skandix and that also returned 8825 & 8826. I'm just confused because that differs to what is fitted!

Is the difference not to do with LHD / RHD?

Scandix tends to list all LHD stuff because it's European

Also are they glass or plastic

Default Headlights

Height adjustment motors can be swapped lhd-rhd there the same.
If in need of a set of lhd xenon headlights, pm me.
I refurbish these sets a lot.
Trade in of your old rhd xenon units is possible…

Give me an idea of cost, including postage to France. I don't need fancy lights really as I rarely use the car at night, I just want to change to non cloudy lhd items.

Thanks

Best for you to buy non oem units .
On the internet they cost €150 a piece…
Vparts sells units for €175 a piece and ship to France…
Good luck with the search and buy…

You could also try searching on ebay.fr for S60/V70 lights; they're the same fit. That's where I bought mine from some years back when I re-registered a UK V70 in France. I also bought a pair of like new XC90 LHD headlights on there last Dec for less than €150 including next day delivery.

I'm keeping an eye on ebay but plastic lens units are far outnumbered by the earlier glass versions. Hopefully something will turn up.
