Rear skid plate
Does anybody know if you can buy the silver rear skid plate that some XC90's have as an after market accessory? Also if you can is it possible to fit the wider post 2006 one onto a 2004 car?

As to the wider one I suspect it would but don't know for sure.

Skid Plate
We have the skid plate on our XC90. It's a dealer fit item. So if you order it through your dealer then you can either get them to fit it or you can do it yourself.
It was listed in the dealer options list when we bought our 2006 XC90 from new and it cost £145 fully fitted. I'm not sure what the part cost alone is or whether you can just buy the part without the labour. It's purely decorative. Again, not sure about the 2007 year rear skid plate. It looks better than the pre-facelift skid plate (in my eyes anyway). I'd suggest you go and have a good look at the rear bumper assembly on the latest XC90. If the bumper itself is the same shape then I think you'd be OK. But if the new has a different moulding then I'd say that it's not compatatble. Regards. Arianne. |
