Default A question about the BKV 400 Series Stand

I'd like to come to the Northern BKV in my 460 Turbo if I can get the time off work. However, the standard of the regular cars is somewhat higher than mine.

My car isn't bad, but it's never had any work done and the previous owner dented the wings and scuffed the bumpers. It was a daily driver around Richmond and while it wasn't neglected, it was never pampered either.

I also had some charming miscreant key the NS from the back door to the rear quarter panel. I have a pair of good S\H wings for it now (thanks to Read View in Accrington) and the Yale racing stripe can be resprayed, but not in time for the BKV - I'm a student, with a matching budget.

Obviously I'll get it looking as clean as possible, but is its appearance going to be a problem? Put it this way - it's got no chance of winning a class trophy, but it's one of the earliest 460 Turbos left on the road, and a few people might want to see it.

What's the consensus on this?

Surely any that turn up is a good thing?
I can't imagine many others turning up, so yeah I think you should show up.

More the merrier!

Been going to this show every year since about 1995 with my 460, only a few 440/460 models turning up now so you would be made most welcome by all Iam sure.
You need to be a member of the VOC if you want to put it into the show, but you could just bring it along and display it if you wanted.
