Navigation and (no?) traffic alerts?
Hi
Have had the new xc40 for almost two months and absolutely love it. Still finding my way around the settings, etc. BUT….. In my previous car (merc 220) if there was a traffic incident, hold up, closed road, etc. On my sat nav route I’d get an on-screen alert. With the sensus nav I get nothing, just the road highlighted in red on the driver screen when I’m actually there. Seems a bit daft - should there be prior alerts? Anyone else having this problem? Anyone got a fix? Here’s hoping! Woody |

Do you have RTI (Real Time Traffic Information) selected in the centre screen.
Settings > Navigation > Traffic > select Real Time Traffic Information. You need a Internet connection for it to work, WiFi personal hotspot, Bluetooth or P/Sim. This is for the Sensus system and not the new Android Automotive (Google) system.

Thanks, just done a complete review of all settings and I’d missed that one! Out and about today, let’s see what happens!
