Default Clutch Adjustment

Hi
I have 1994 1.9TD 440, which has done 100k miles.

Clutch has longer release arm, and I have adjusted stroke from 22mm to 30mm. Clutch pedal has risen above brake pedal, when prior to adjustment it was level.

Does anyone know if diesel setting is different to petrol (Adjustment taken from Haynes manual)?

Thanks in Advance.
Martin

Well, after speaking to a volvo mechanic some years ago, I always just adjust the clutch so that it is at a comfortable height, which I find to be ever so slightly higher than the brake pedal, regardless of the measurement at the bellhousing. Before this, I tried the haynes method for my car, and the pedal was way way too high.
