Default My new to me S60

It's been 6 months now with the S60 d5 185 and its slowly coming along.I was looking for genuine pegs but ended up with the BBS wheels for a forum member. Its not as punchy as I'd like so it has a Dtuk box on for now until it gets mapped which I guess is about 200ish bhp.
All interior bulbs are now LED and so are all outside ones where possible.Uprated white headlights and cree foglight bulbs, detangoed indicator bulbs.
Plans next are dpf delete and map,new style V O L V O rear badge and a s60r boot spoiler.
Service done, belt done, new brakes all round Inc handbrake adjuster mod.

That looks a proper mint of a car.....though must have cost you a fortune to get up to that standard! Its just made me think.....haven't polished my car for a while!! Though I think it would look much MUCH better without the roofbars and the tow hitch.......just a gripe of mine but nonetheless, very smart!

Where did you get that Chrome exhaust end from? I'd quite like one of those. Also, have you replaced the chrome strips on the corners? They look new. If you have, where did you get them from?

Cheers!

I must confess the car was owned by an older gentleman so I had a headstart but the paint (all original)was professionally detailed a few weeks ago and sealed using dodo juice and some other nano wax ( so the detailer tells me) . The roof bars were only on for the holiday as I don't like the look of them either but as the first photo gives away I need a towbar but I will be fitting a detachable one when I can be bothered to remove the Witter one.
The exhaust tip is standard on 185's and the other chrome work is standard just carefully restored as were the headlights.

That is a clean car. Love that Grey colour. The detailing looks like it's been very well done!

I need to get my belt changed within the next 20000 miles.

I just had a few more dings removed yesterday.I think that's about 19 so far ,most were tiny parking dings but had two on the roof that were done yesterday.Dropped the head cloth to get them done properly. Now not a single ding or scratch no matter how small so pretty chuffed. The down side is im afraid to park it anywhere

Nothing fancy on the inside just sport/se black leather interior with wood trim!!! Oft.Got window blinds fitted last week from Volvo and getting a terraclean treatment on Friday. Not sure if it will make any difference but im hoping it will help my poor mpg (38 average).

And my other old girl a lot more fun,an extra 100bhp+ than the D5 but less than half the mpg.Its going for sale now and it will brake my heart as its been the family workhorse and dependable all weather tool for a good while now.Its strange what cars you get attached to ,and at £2k its worth more in bits

Is the Subaru a 2003? My friends had a 2001. 'Twas a good car generally speaking.
Alas, a previous owner removed the Subaru coolant and replaced it with "regular, old fashioned green". The gaskets were adversely effected and the engine wept coolant. Kira
