What carburettor is a good choice?
A B200K engine with solex z11.
Will both SU HIF 44 and SU HIF 6 work well? Or what other choice should I consider? I'm not looking for performance, just daily driving and easy maintenance. |

Really anything is better than the Solex. I am changing to a Pierburg 175 and have the carb on the bench. It seems well made and very similar to an SU. It's a nice simple design, unlike the massively over complicated Solex.
I'll be reconditioning it before it goes in and don't expect huge performance or anything, but that's what the other car is for Some on here will recommend the Zenith instead, but I have no experience of it so cannot comment. Cheers, Cap
