Fuel Lines
Just got back from a trip and could smell fuel. Looked underneath and all i could find were these three lines. I believe one is a feed the other a retrn to the tank. What’s the third line please with the broken connection?

Breather line for the tank? Goes to the charcoal canister in the engine bay. That's just a guess, but sounds right to me......

Maybe it could just be pushed back in, so probably just a breather with no fuel pressure.
Looks as if the nut is missing from the stud for the heat shield - see the thread on here about someone who has the shield rattling - so maybe the car has been grounded at some time and the line has been caught (on a road hump?). It's definitivly the breatherline. You can try to push it back into the thicker connectorpart. Should work, there is no pressure on it!
